The 48th Annual Sea Cavalcade weekend, July 23 and 24, 2016, is a fun-filled weekend with events for all ages and levels of activity, from toddlers to seniors, spectators to competitive athletes, all in Lower Gibsons.
The festivities start off on Saturday, July 23rd with a parade down Gibsons Way and onto Gower Point Road (Gibsons Landing). Bring folding chairs, sunscreen and camera to watch area marching bands, performers, floats, clowns and classic cars as they wind their way down the hill!
Saturday ends with a bang of colour with a spectacular fireworks display in the Gibsons Harbour set to music.
On Sunday, watch the yearly Keats to Armours swim, wooden boat show or take a historic walk through downtown.
The weekend comes to a close on Sunday evening with a community dinner and music.
